Royal Ridge Fruits Springs to Action

Spring sets off an explosion of activity at Royal Ridge Fruits. As the cherry trees burst into bloom at Dorsing Farms, we spring into action to make the most of our prime growing season.

In spring, we focus on maintaining the vigor of our orchards so they continue to yield high volumes of healthy produce. This season, we're replanting trees in two of our sour cherry orchards to maximize production performance of this succulent fruit.

This is also the time of year when we develop new fruit offerings. We're busy at work grafting apple trees to breed two new varieties of our popular Fuji apple. We're also bringing in bees by the truckload to pollinate our fruit trees, which began budding in early April.

Preparations for the summer-fall harvest are also underway. One of our most important tasks is inspecting and fine-tuning our harvesting and food processing equipment to verify that it meets our stringent performance and food safety standards.

Springing ahead to summer, harvesting and fruit processing shifts into high gear. Check back often to see what else goes into the production of our wholesome, bulk-packed fruit, including:

  • Wholesale dried cherries
  • Wholesale frozen cherries
  • Bulk dried blueberries
  • Bulk strawberries Bulk raspberries
